The inspection fee for a typical one-family house varies.
The inspection fee may vary depending upon the size of the house, particular features of the house, its
age, and location.

Do not let cost be a factor in deciding whether or not to have a home inspection, or in the selection of your
home inspector.
The knowledge gained from an inspection is well worth the cost.

The lowest-priced inspector is not necessarily a bargain. The inspector's qualifications, including his
experience, training, professional affiliations, and membership in the Better Business Bureau, should be
the most important considerations.

Our rates for performing a home inspection are quite simple to calculate as follows:

If the house is less than 2,500 square feet then the cost is $250 + (See Notes).
If the house is between 2,600 and 3,000 square feet  the cost is $300 + (See Notes).
If the house is between 3,100 and 4,000 square feet  the cost is $400 + (See Notes).
If the house is above 4,000 square feet then please call for a quote.
New Construction Inspections $75 per stage (Typical 2 Stages), plus final inspection fee as detailed
above.

48 hour Radon Gas Test $150.00

Re-Inspection of house after initial inspection (Changes Made Verification) cost $75 + (See Notes).

Notes:
Add $50 if the house has a crawlspace
Add $25 if the house is over 20 years of age.
Add $25 if the house is over 25 miles from Madison.
